I will try to answer your questions as best I can. Lots of people comment on the spelling of God and Dog. As far as I know, this is just happens in English. It doesn't happen in the languages the Bible was written in, Hebrew and Greek. And it doesn't happen in Spanish. I don't know about other languages. I think this is just an odd thing that happens in English and is not of much significance. About the story your Grandmother told you. If it is possible you might want to ask your Grandmother about the story. I remember reading a similar story a long time ago. I think many cultures have similar stories. I don't know if the story you are talking about is a story that is told to kids, like a folk tale or if it has religious significance in India. I don't know very much as I should about India and its religions and folk stories. Perhaps another reader can help us out. Unfortunately, people in lots of countries hit their pets. It is a problem in the United States also. That is one of the reasons for these posts here, to encourage people to value their pets (and other animals) more.
